Purchased 3 new games for PS3, finished Gears Of War on PC, Far CRY 2 thoughts, and more

Two days ago i purchased 3 new games for PS3, Uncharted, Resistance 2, and LBP. I am only interested in Uncharted, while my younger bro will play R2 and LBP. It seems R2 has very short single player, he finished it rather quickly....we cant see how many hours he played, since there is no such info(probably hidden on purpose) , so atm he is enjoying coop which he likes a lot.

I played 2:30 hours of Uncharted, and it is very good game, nice flow. Love how at first you just explore all the way up to submarine. Nice story, Drake is very likeable character. I am very satisfied with game. I know someone will hate me for saying this but cover system in GeOW is superior, or at least it feels better/cooler. Also pace of action in Gears is way cooler, it is fast/brutal and you feel like badass, weapons in Gears kick ass, sound and everything about them is awesome. But on other hand story in Gears is pointless, like watching WWE or something. "Like, who gives a sh!t!?" Characters are generic as it can be, but i guess this game is not about characters and story but all about AWESOME action and adrenaline feeled campaign. I really enjoyed game. What i didn't like was last part of chapter 5, when you are on that train, i mean does it get more linear than that? Also lack of boss fights. That last boss fight (rAAM?) was horrible! I finished him in like 2 minutes , eventually run to that cannon and blasted his ass.
 
I am also playing Far Cry 2 on PC, game looks AWESOME! Graphics are really impressive, and best of it game doesn't require you to have monster hardware to run it, like Crysis. What i really hate about this game are random fights, like when you drive your car and you get shot at from all sides, cars catching up to you, go way faster than you so it is impossible to escape, you have to fight them, it really gets annoying after a while.

Red ALERT 3, o man i was looking forward to this. Played it on PC, finished Soviet campaign and it is enough for me. SAME freking game for 10 years, give me a brake! Red Alert games need some kind of evolution this was really weak. Just give me Starcraft 2.

i THINK it may be this, when you save the game or go to a saved game file stay on it a few seconds and a time should pop up under the image

it would be something like:

which would be 9 hours, 2 minutes and 23 seconds.

At the main menu go to Community, then select Profile. It'll break it down for you by Campaign, Co-Op, and Competitive. You can look at EVERYTHING, including how many of each enemy type you killed in the campaign (and how many times each type killed you), how many hits & kills you got with each weapon, and your accuracy with each weapon, how many cars you blew up, how many enemies you caught on fire, how many times you killed an enemy with the auger through the wall, how many shots were absorbed by the wraith shield, and how how much play time you've put in.

The time is put in the following format:

DD:HH:MM:SS

So if you played for 25 hours, 5 minutes, and 15 seconds it would look like this:

01:01:05:15
(1 day = 24 hours: + 1 hour = 25 hours: + 5 minutes: + 15 seconds)

wow...and if ur bro went through it quickly maybe he played on easy...well u click on community...then on profile then your character will come up do this before entering comp or co op so when your at the main screen and u havent selected anything....then when u click on community u go to profile then click on stats and it will chow u everything you did in the campaign for R2...in my opinion (SPOILER for R2!!dont read on i warned you) i think capelli will be the main character for R3 if they make one since he did shoot nathan in the head

Yes he played on easy, even if i tell him never to do that.
R3? Still far away, he liked single campaign but felt that they could have done it better, more or less what every one is saying.

I don't think Hale's dead

I reckon number 3 will be about trying to find a way to cure Hale (or something like that) with his badass powers increasing all the time.

The reason being that dr Malikov was talking about 2 people having pure chimera genes implanted into them, one was Daedalus (can't remember his name off hand) and the other I'm guessing was Nathan Hale, all part of project Abraham. However as we noticed while Daedalus got totally screwed up after being injected, Hale stayed human, so some 1 in a billion resistance to the Chimeran virus, and rather than take over him it works in a kind of shared relationship ie the best of both

on getting uncharted. it's long overdue, but still better than never. try not to get too bogged down with the comparisons. enjoy it for what it is.

and... MAKE SURE YOU FINISH IT.

i've had a few people who were turned off by some parts and decided not to keep going, but the second half of that game is AMAZING, so please do finish it.

as for LBP/R2... meh... they're decent games, but not what we'd hoped they'd be.

O i will finish it for sure, most likely play it once again after that, which i almost never do. I am 51% COMPLETE, still half way to go.

I played through uncharted 4 times to get the platinum. It never felt stale even for a second.

But I had beaten it 3 times before Trophies, so 6 times total, and each time it was just as incredible. Naughty Dog has the golden touch.

recently i bought three games for my PS3 (bioshock, fallout, R2) i played bioshock for about 2 days streak then i got YLOD with my bioshock stuck on it....LoL

for me uncharted is the best game for PS3, mgs 4.... meh

I finished Uncharted and LOVED IT! One of my favorite IP ever, looking forward to 2nd game
